Tank Walker 2

OVERVIEW[]

  • So you know how you feel while you’re playing sports? Super powerful and energetic? That’s how Tank Walker 2.1 feels ALL THE TIME. While all the other Nanovor have been occasionally fighting battles, Tank Walker 2.1 has been pumping iron in the gym for hours on end. You’d think that since it’s so beefed up, it’d be really arrogant, but Tank Walker 2.1 just wants to help! It’s super protective and loyal, but just like its predecessors, when it gets angry, it won’t hesitate to SMASH.

HOW TO OBTAIN[]

This Nanovor was first made available 10/29/09. To obtain this Nanovor, you must evolve Tank Walker 2.0 using the EMs 1M2, 1M7 and 1M1 in that order.

TACTICS[]

  • There’s no bad time to play Tank Walker 2.1 in battle. Just like Tank Walker 2.0, it has attacks dealing heavy damage, and an exceptional override, so it’s perfect for any situation. If you’re low on energy, use Headbutt! This attack will do extra damage because Tank Walker 2.1 has stats that are maxed out! If you just feel like doing extreme damage that will reduce the opposing Nanovor to a sizzling goo puddle, attack with Ion Gore. Remember: his stats are maxed out so there’s no need to spend Jolts on him. Use the Jolts on your other Nanovor to create a more balanced and powerful swarm. A Magnamod swarm is damage-heavy in general, so put in a Nanovor with a speed mod -- like Circuit Flyer 2.0’s Power Rush -- just in case you’re playing against a bunch of speedy Hexites.

COUNTER TACTICS[]

  • Back It Into a Corner! If you think Tank Walker 2.0 was hard to beat, Tank Walker 2.1 is even harder! His stats are maxed out, but that doesn’t mean he’s unbeatable! Don’t give up: just trap him by attacking with your Storm Spinner 1.0’s Crystal Trap, then swap in your Gamma Stalker 2.0 and attack with Phase Fang. Next, swap in your Plasma Locust 1.0 to use Headbutt, and you’re well on your way to a squished Tank Walker!
  • Use Combos For More Damage! Tank Walker’s got so much health that it’s sometimes frustrating to attack it for moderate damage. To zap its health more effectively, start the battle with your Spike Spine 1.0 and play a Blue Spike. Then, swap in your Giga Wing 1.0 and attack with Gob Smack. Tank Walker will certainly feel that hit!
  • Hope For the Best! Sometimes you’ve just gotta try your luck. Start off with a Headbutt from your Plasma Locust 1.0, then swap in your Spike Hornet 2.0 to attack with Wisecrack. Cross your fingers: this attack could do 80 damage, but it could also do 0. If it succeeds, you’re almost there! If it fails, keep on truckin’!

ORIGINS[]

  • Results are inconclusive on this mind-boggling Nanovor. This is not because of lack of research or interest -- no, Tank Walker 2.1 (as I've begun to call it) is one of the most incredible Nanovor I've ever had the distinct pleasure of examining. Unfortunately, while attempting to examine it closer, my microscope lens cracked just as I managed to catch a glimpse of it. There's no way to be sure, but it's a distinct possibility that Tank Walker 2.1 Headbutted my lens. After recoiling in shock, it occurred to me that the ramifications of this Nanovor's existence could be dire. It has power the likes of which I haven't yet seen among these fascinating creatures. The fact that it exists, then, poses an important question: is this Nanovor merely an anomaly, or should the world of Nanovor prepare for a very different hierarchy?
